Management Trainee

Buckle’s one-year Management Development Program is your pathway to accelerated career growth. Through this program, an experienced Store Manager will help you develop the sales, recruiting, merchandising, and leadership skills you need to manage your own store. To enhance your learning, you may have the opportunity to travel and gain experiences outside your store. Upon completion of the program, you will relocate as a Store Manager to your own store.

Position details

  • One-year, full-time position (average of 40-45 hours/week)
  • Relocation required

Program Details

  • Set goals and expectations of the program with your Store, Area and District Manager
  • Put knowledge into action by impacting guests and educating Teammates on a daily basis
  • Build upon your knowledge by completing Buckle’s Leadership Development Playbook
  • Further develop your Buckle leadership by completing Buckle’s Management Manual
  • Actively recruit for your store and participate in the interviewing process with your Store Manager
  • Prepare to be a Store Manager yourself by educating, reviewing, delegating, scheduling, planning, merchandising, and most importantly, leading the team to success
