- UNK Scholarship Endowment: On September 5, 2012, Buckle announced that a permanent endowment had been established in the name of Buckle with a $150,000 gift to the University of Nebraska Foundation. This gift was given to provide annual scholarship awards for students interested in careers related to computer science or information technology. Each year, two $3,000 scholarships will be awarded to students in the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems who meet certain academic requirements. This gift directly benefits the University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK), where many current and future Buckle teammates receive their education.
- Boys & Girls Clubs of America: Buckle is a proud supporter of Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA), and has made a donation to support their mission: "To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens." Boys & Girls Clubs of America fulfill their mission by providing after-school and summer programs where students participate in various activities and programs to make them well-rounded individuals. The most important part of the program is the focus on education, as BGCA aims to ensure that all members graduate from high school on time and ready for post-secondary education.
